Lava International, India’s smartphone manufacturer today launched Lava Iris Win1 Windows Phone in India, priced at 4,999. Iris Win1 phone will be available from Dec 4 on Flipkart in price of $80. This is a 4 inch device with 1 GB RAm and 8 GB internal Storage. They already have a Windows Phone device under their XOLO brand, but Iris Win1 is the first under Lava brand in India. Iris Win1 will run on Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
The company has tied up with Flipkart to sell the Win1 online. It has a 4-inch WVGA display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It has 3G connectivity and Dual SIM support.
The company has partnered with Flipkart to sell the smartphone exclusively. It has a 4-inch WVGA display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It has 3G connectivity and Dual SIM support.
Celkon Win 400 that was launched yesterday has a similar display and processor, but this has 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage and comes with a 1950mAh battery, compared to 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 1500mAh battery on the Celkon smartphone.

Lava Iris Win1 Windows Phone will be available for sale from December 4. The device comes with a flip cover and screen guard inside the box along with other standard accessories.
